I love this picture. Roland finally reaches his elusive Dark Tower. Also on this day in End World, Stephen King officially runs out of steam and burns his readers like never before after seven books of waiting for this moment.
Sigh.
Still, a great ride until then.
personally, i liked the ending…the original ending was better, before he went in…and, imo, i think that, with the way the series went, these were the only two at least somewhat-satisfactory ways the series could have ended…btw, the ending in the appologue is probably a referance to Stephen King’s view of Hell being repetition.

I loved what happened inside the tower. But the climax before it was terrible…!

I HATED the ending, too. What a letdown! But, as one of my best friends (and also a DT freak) sad, “At least he warned you to stop reading.” Haha, as if!

Yeah like who could do that. But i actually liked the fact that he had to start over, what i didn’t like was the way the battle against the Crimson King for which he has been preparing turns out to be a fat grumpy santa getting rubbed out!
