Windows 7 Screenshots

Almost certainly faked, but some interesting ideas. I love the first one on the left. Presently in Vista the only window which is has its entire area transparent is the Gadgets chooser. I love this look and so the idea of all Explorer windows looking the same way is a great way to go, if you ask me.

Found here.

Ok so this week i decided to be a little less detailed. Here’s the slide. Enjoy (because I know you give a shit).

John Mellencamp at 56

When John isn’t depressed he’s actually pretty funny. And the new album is, for me, the best since Whenever We Wanted. Go you, John. ( ’cause you’re TOTALLY reading this blog!!)

A Few Days Off

HD TV

July 25, 2008

So this week I got in Sky HD TV. There aren’t that many actual HD channels and a lof of what there are included are sports/movies which I don’t subscribe to anyway. But there are some National Geographic type things.
Soooooooo, I find myself the other day leaving on footage of a cow in a field. Pretty sun, nice flowers, grazing cow. You get the idea. I sit watching this damn cow for maybe fifteeen minutes, because, damn it, it’s a Hi Def cow, not just your everyday ordinary TV cow!
Of course, I live in the country so I can look out my kitchen window and see a whole bunch of cows in the hills behind me, but that wouldn’t be getting my monies worth out of my HD set!
(To make myself feel better I have somehow convinced myself that the other, non HD channels are actually clearer too. It comforts me somewhat when there are no cows on.)

Tom Waits & Iggy Pop

So, it would seem Travors was taking feet pictures, too, this weekend.

So i took my daughter to the park this weekend and decided to get a picture of how pretty and scenic it was for you all. I was going for close up and detailed. I may have over-done it.
