Ok, so I mentioned it before, and figured you should see it. This is the best cult movie ever. The Return Of Captain Invincible. You CAN’T go wrong with this ridiculous flick. Christopher Lee sings!!

An Evil Guest

So I just got Gene Wolfe’s new book. Only 50 pages in but so far it’s shaping up pretty good. It’s his first almost-real-world book in a long time, perhaps since Castleview. If you’re a fan, check it.

Travors: Whoop, got my broadband bumped up to a 10 meg line today, I’m nerding at super speed B-)
Me: With who? I want!
Travors: UPC, I can upgrade to 20 meg if I want. Only available to us city folk I’m afraid. You’ll have to stick to your sheep on a treadmill attached to a piece of frayed twine speed around your parts :’( Maybe you could upgrade to a goat?
Me: Like I can afford a goat!

The Dentist Song

I love this. Didn’t care for the rest of the movie. Mind you that was a long time ago, and given my love of ridiculous mock-musicals I must try it again.

FYI if you love mock-musicals I heartily recommend The Return Of Captain Invincible. It’s excellent, stupid, funny and the music rocks. And it’s got Christopher Lee singing opera!

I’m F*%king Matt Damon

September 17, 2008

Sarah Silverman breaks the news to her long-time boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel in this video: she’s f#*!ing Matt Damon.

I can’t stop singing the hook from this song!

“Pope to ill: ‘Accept death at hour chosen by God’
Benedict visits Lourdes, reasserts the Vatican’s opposition to euthanasia”

More here…

Yeah, much better to just let the bastards suffer, right? I mean, living a full life doesn’t entitle you to die with dignity at ALL. That’s the way of love.

I love that the line is a piece of pop culture.
